   “SOLID North”

Salutations to the world of Jayceeism.  It is nice to be back from my hibernation and equally elated to lead the Metro North Region.

This region is not compose of Ilokano chapters, it is compose of a prouder Bulakeños.  Appropriately described as SOLID and united region, I look forward to this province turned to a JC region as one of the foundations for the National Jayceeism.

Tested in times, weakened and affected by national crisis, threatened by numbers of NGOs, depleting resources, every year faces problems that challenges any Jaycee Officers to do his best for the best.

Any year needs good leaders, supportive members, bright goals, better finances these things can only be achieve in a perfect world.  I don’t want to be sound negative, let’s face it, we are not leaving in a perfect world.  That is why we need Jaycee like you to give a hand in this imperfect world.  We can survive and we will survive the challenges ahead of us.  These challenges make life worth living.

For the Metro North Region, the year started good with Malolos, Marilao Marilag, Marilaw, Meycauayan Katad and Sta. Maria Jaycees making an early registration.  Kudos to all these chapters.  Joining us soon for 2003, Paombong Suka, Bocaue Thunder, San Jose Del Monte, Pandi, Balagtas Big-AA, and Guiguinto Golden Jaycees.  The increase of membership will be easy for the Metro North if all chapters can be revived.

The Metro North is task to handle the AreaCon 2003.  We promise that the conference will be remembered for a long time.  Preparations are going on and we are looking forward for the chapters of Metro South and Metro East to be involved.

Each chapter has its own plan for their community, JCP has better things for the whole membership and the MetroArea has come up with a golden plan for 2003.

Let this vision turn into mission, this mission to goal and this goal into an objective. And let this objective be the reality…”
